Do I need special sheets for my new mattress?
You will need special sheets if you are purchasing a very thick mattress with a thick pillow top there called Deep pocketed sheets. When selecting sheets, it is also important to keep in mind that your sheets are part of your sleep environment, therefore comfort, thickness and softness should be considered when making your sheet selection.
Do I need to buy a new box spring when buying a new mattress?
The box spring acts as the foundation of the bed. It provides support for the mattress by acting as a shock absorber. These two pieces were designed to compliment each other when working together as a set. Although there are several types of platform beds that do not use a box spring, pairing your new mattress with an old box spring is not recommended.
How often do I need to turn my new bed?
Your new mattress should be turned every week for the first few months and each month thereafter. One time turn it end over end, the next time rotate it clockwise. This pattern will allow you to get the most even wear and extend the life of your mattress. Never use the cord handles to turn the mattress. These handles will not support the weight of the mattress and are likely to pull out. They should be used for final positioning only. Because of their size, it takes at least two people to turn most mattresses. The larger size mattresses can result in damage to the product or injury if you try and turn it by yourself. Ask a friend or family member to help you.

Why do I need a mattress protector pad for my new bed?
Beds America strongly recommends protecting your new mattress purchase with a mattress pad. Not only will it help extend the life of your new mattress, but will maximize the manufacturers warranty. While the mattress pad can be removed and washed, your mattress cannot. Ask your Sleep associates about a mattress pad protection at the time of your purchase.
Will I need new pillows with my new mattress set?
Industry standards recommend that you replace your pillows every 1-2 years. Your mattress and pillows work together to provide you with good postural alignment. When replacing your mattress, you will need to evaluate if your old pillows still provide appropriate support with the new mattress set. A good way to judge this is to lie on the bed in the position you usually sleep in, and have another person see if your spine is in alignment (straight). How soon can I get my new mattress?
In most cases, Beds America is able to deliver your new mattress by the next day. This allows you to start getting a better night's sleep as soon as possible. Our quick and Express Delivery service offers you the choice of when you want your new mattress to be delivered, seven days a week. We'll also set up your new mattress and remove the old one, upon your request, at no extra charge.
What is covered by a mattress Manufacture's warranty?
Simply the warranty covers defects in workmanship of the product. with mattress a defect might include a spring through the material of the mattress or body impression of foam over 1 1/2 in the sleeping areas. Note: that any stained or soil in the mattress will void your warranty. all mattresses purchased at Beds America will include a manufacture warranty cards with there requirements of the product (transportation on warranty is not covered by manufacture or Beds America).
